What is your full name? What is your race?

Kiora Glyndvir. Human.

Where were you born?

Kul Tiras, in a small hamlet in Drustvar.

What is your date of birth? The present year of the Lotharian Calendar is 38 LC.

02/27/14

Where do you currently live?

My family left me a home in Drustvar, though I do not use it much save for a place to keep my books.

What is your most recent occupation? Who have you worked for in the past?

Tidesage of Kul Tiras. Formerly I was employed by Lord Stormsong, but after hostile work conditions, I have come under the employ of the Storm's Wake.

What skills do you have to offer?

Guidance. Mastery over the tides. Blessings and healing. Though I can do any normal duty that a seapriest can, I find that I particularly am skilled in the use of elementals and reading the tides for omens and guidance from the Tidemother. Be it guiding ships or calling upon storms and winds to cut through enemy hulls, these are what I am best at. Though, as of recently I have taken up runecarving and learning rituals to ward away the crushing depths. If all else fails, I have tonics and imbued tidewater to remedy ailments and to mend wounds.

Are you physically fit to serve as a soldier? Do you have any ailments, injuries, or curses?

I am fit enough for the sea, though I do not see myself wearing heavy armor for anything more than ceremony.

Do you have a criminal record? If so, please explain your crimes and any punishments you endured.

The only crime that I have committed was following Lord Stormsong as he delved deeper into the depths of madness. I only wish that I could've left for the Storm's Wake sooner. I wish that we all could have seen how deep his cult had gone before innocents were taken by it.

Who would you name as your next of kin should you perish on the battlefield? What is their relation to you? Where do they live?

If I should perish on the battlefield, I ask that you let my Brothers and Sisters in Sagehold aware.
They will know what to do from there.

Do you acknowledge that by enlisting in the Stormwind Army, you will be expected to swear fealty, service, and loyalty to the Kingdom of Stormwind and the House of Wrynn above all other nations and obligations?

I acknowledge that the Kingdom of Kul Tiras owe the House of Wrynn a debt that may never be repayed. I will happily pledge my services and loyalty to Stormwind, even above the people of Kul Tiras.

Do you acknowledge that by enlisting in the Stormwind Army, you will be expected to adopt our ethos, conduct, and way of life as a disciplined soldier?

I accept this, and look forward to it. So long as I'm able to head down to the coast every now and again.

Do you acknowledge that by enlisting in the Stormwind Army, you may be sent to armed conflict in any part of Azeroth or beyond, with the associated risks and responsibilities involved?

I have lived in Kul Tiras my whole life. I've been holed up in Stormsong Valley studying maps and scrolls filled with knowledge and history. I look now to explore those maps for myself and to use my knowledge to aid the people of Stormwind.

Do you acknowledge that by enlisting in the Stormwind Army, you may be asked to take lives in the act of protecting the Kingdom of Stormwind’s interests?

I take no pleasure in taking lives but I also do not hesitate.

Why do you wish to serve with the Stormwind Army? If you are not originally a subject of the kingdom, why do you wish to enlist to serve Stormwind over your homeland?

If not for the Alliance and the House of Wrynn, Kul Tiras would be a ruined nation overrun with twisted beings from the darkest depths led by the k'thir that Lord Stormsong created. Not to mention the other threats that were taking my home. I feel compelled to serve the Kingdom of Stormwind and to finally leave my homeland. I wish to see the world I've read about in my scrolls.

In which Division do you wish to serve the Stormwind Army?

The Mage Circle of Sarceline is where I believe I would like to be. Research and the study of things magical are interesting to me.

OUT-OF-CHARACTER SECTION
The following section is out of character; the rest of the application is meant for you, the player, to answer so that we can get an idea of who you are! Please fill out the following below as accurately as possible in complete sentences and in your own words.

Character name (must include alt codes if applicable), race, class and level:

Glyndvir | Human | Mage | 120

Where did you hear about the <The First Regiment> and why do you wish to join?

I've known about it for sometime now. But my girlfriend is the one who suggested we apply once we got back from our hiatus.

How old are you? <The First Regiment> does not recruit players under the age of 17.

I am 24 years old.

Please give a brief summary of your role-playing experience. What, if any, role-playing guilds have you been part of? If you were a member of the regiment before, what were the circumstances of you leaving?

I have been roleplaying since 2011. I started roleplaying in The Scarlet Hammer as an Inquisitor.
Since then I've roleplayed trolls and demon hunters mainly, though I've had a number of other characters ranging from a gnome to a nightborne and everything in between.Guilds that I have been a part of include; The Dark Embrace, The Crescent Glaive, Te Amun, and the Magus Senate of Dalaran

Have you read the guild rules in full? If so, what is the guild’s policy on uniforms?

The guild's policy on uniforms is that all members are required to wear their uniforms in full during guild events. Failure to do so will result in IC consequences for a character.

Have you read the service record page in full? If so, list five things that positively affect a person’s service record, and five things that negatively affect a person’s service record.

Positive:
-Earning in-character commendations or awards.
-Attending the majority of a guild role-playing campaign.
-Completing approved major guild writing projects or guides in full.
-Consistently role-playing with guild members outside of events.
-Excellent guild event attendance.
Negative:
-Serious violation of in-character rules that yields a court martial.
-Chronic or serious violations of out-of-character Guild Rules.
-Any violation of in-character rules resulting in flogging or detainment.
-Poor guild event attendance.
-Chronic in-character rule violations.

Due to the premise of our guild, we often present ours members with morally ambiguous situations in which morbid or gruesome imagery may be invoked. Your character may be ordered to kill other characters, creatures or animals. We however expressly forbid sexual violence in guild role-play. Do you acknowledge these disclaimers and expectations?

I acknowledge these disclaimers and expectations.

If there is any information about your character you would like to give us out-of-character that you could not put into the in-character application, please put it here. Are there plotlines that your character is involved in that could involve the guild?

My character is a new character after I took a hiatus from the game. As for potential plotlines, her father was not around when she was little because he left to join the Scarlet Crusade where he allegedly 'died'. As for her mother, her mother is a Thornspeaker. So, any plotlines regarding the Scourge or Scarlets or even the happenings of Drustvar could include parts of her story.
